Simplify i3® - Safety Management System (SMS) Solution
The Boca Raton Airport is one of the premier general aviation facilities in the Southeast and is publicly owned by the state of Florida and independently operated by the Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA). The Airport averages over 60,000 operations annually, including private aviation, corporate travel, and air taxi operations. Nearly 300 aircraft are based at the Airport including single engine, multi engine, and helicopters.

BRAA selected EPIC’s Simplify i3® solution to serve as their Safety Management System (SMS) enabling them to comply with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) SMS standards and guidelines by providing the following capabilities:

  • Web portal access for tenants and airport users to easily report and track hazards
  • Tracking and reporting of hazards, incidents, and accidents including documenting when hazard mitigation activities are performed
  • Tracking and reporting of wildlife management activities including strikes and wildlife
